Our school "Paola Di Rosa" is in Badia Polesine, a small town with a population of about 10,000 in the province of Rovigo in northern Italy, about eighty kilometers from Venice.  It  is mainly an agricultural area but it also has some light industry.                                                                                   "Paola Di Rosa" is a well established, private school and includes a crèche, a nursery school and a primary school. In all, the school numbers about 250 people. The primary school was set up in 2010 to comply with the wishes of a group of parents who had always taken an active part in school life and who had similar educational and religious views. The school is open  from 8.30 AM until 4 PM, from Mondays to Fridays. It offers a useful support for those families where both parents work , likely.
In our school the classes are taught by various teachers, each one specialized in a particular area or sciences. There are also teachers who are specialized in just one area such as a foreign language, music, computer studies, physical education and religious instruction. All the teachers who work in the same class work together as a team planning all the class activities and projects.
